Project Description:
The Nandi Drive Project will facilitate easier access to the city for residents to the north of the city centre, ease traffic congestion on Inanda Arterial and KwaMashu Highway/North Coast Road and open up approximately 280 hectares of land for light industrial, commercial and residential development projects within Morelands new River Horse Valley Business Estate
Project Details
Roadworks included construction of 2200m dual carriageways, 975m of service roads
Structures included 42m reinforced concrete bridge, lateral support with rock bolt and anchors, interlocking, gabion, brick and concrete retaining walls. The project also included all associated relocation of services and installation of new stormwater and culverts.
